Hello Peplink Knowledge Base,
I am hoping you might be able to assist by sharing some of the vast collective knowledge? I have purchased a BOne for my remote office at home and an SDX for the main office in work.
I have an SDX and connects to s 380x and is fully working as I hope to have the B One, however the person that set the 380x up has now left the company, good news they got a great offer from another company however now they have left I am a little stuck on how to add a second device to our speedfusion tunnel.
I am looking to setup a Layer 2 extension that makes the devices connected to between the SDX and B One appear as if they are connected to the same work network. Including using the work DHCP server.
When I use the peplink 380x I plug it in and the device got an IP in the range of work (using the work’s DHCP server) and appeared as if I was fully local, however for my new B One device I just can’t seem to get the DHCP to expend. I feel like it something as simple as it being hidden behind one of the question marks, however I have mirrored the setup to the working unit one for one with no luck.
Currently I have the Speedfusion tunnel setup and it is showing as connected on both devices (SDX-B One) however when I connect my laptop to the B One port 1 (Untagged both ends) it just gives me a self-assigned IP.
Could you point me in the right direction to extend the work DHCP over the speedfusion network to make it appear as if it’s connected locally to work network that the SDX is connected to?
Thank you in advance!
