Rules for admin and read-only passwords

Hi, does anyone know the rules (recipe) for the passwords on the balance routers? What I am looking for is maximum length of password, and which characters can and can not be used. Also do the same rules apply to the admin and read-only accounts? Regards Steve

What's the maximum number of characters accepted as the username and password?

Peplink and Pepwave devices can accept usernames with up to 32 characters, and passwords with up to 32 characters. Any ASCII character (including extended ASCII) is accepted. [image] Username - 32 characters Password - 32 characters Please note that the number of bullets “••••” does not reflect the length of the password you just entered. This is a security feature to prevent password exposure in the Web UI.

This is the best I can find for you for now, maybe you might like to turn this into a Feature Request and to detail more specifically what you need, why and business benefits of having it.
