Incontrol/Intouch - Mini BR1 HW3 - Intouch Websocket problem

I have a client device connected to a Peplink Mini BR1 HW3 lan port [1] that hosts a status page over HTTP and https (but no valid certificate). This page loads up some static resources and opens a websocket (ws/wss). When I attach that same device to my local LAN, I can view this page correctly and the websocket provides data packets. However when connecting to that same page/client behind a peplink (using a SIM as WAN) via Intouch, the websocket connection fails.

Important to note; This was working for months until after we did a firmware upgrade on the peplink.

Does anyone have any tips on how to fix/troubleshoot this? Do I need to manually open up some ports or something?

Thanks in advance!!

After checking with Support Team we ended up finding that (unconfirmed) a firmware update reset the Compatibility Mode setting to unticked while previously it was using Mode2 for Websockets. Switching that back on did the trick
