Incomplete GPX file archive

,

According to the info bubble, 7 days of GPS data are being archived and should be available for download from the Status page, but there are always only two files for the current and previous day. This is on a Peplink MAX BR1 Pro 5G, firmware 8.5.1 build 5714. Is that the same for everyone else?

Was GPS data being fed to it previous days? If not, it won’t be shown. What does IC2 say?

Yes, I have been downloading the GPX files every day for the last few days. But it seems every night when the file for the new day shows up, the file from 2 days ago disappears.

It looks like GPS data go about a week back in InControl 2:

Heya!

Just looking at some devices in IC2 and I have devices with several months of GPS locations… All the way back to June 2024…

Right, in I2C everything looks fine. But my understanding is that locally on the router’s admin web interface there should be 7, not only 2 days of GPS data?

I can confirm on the few random devices I checked, I can only see today and yesterday, with lots of data in IC2. My recommendation, file a ticket as a bug, and use IC2

Hello, I reported this problem in a post in January: Max Transit Duo Pro does not archive 7 days of GPS data but only one. I opened a ticket for this bug.

According to the ticket this should be solved with the next firmware release. On Thursday I installed the Firmware 8.5.2 Beta 1 and it solved the problem. Right now I have already 4 days of GPS data. Unfortunately this bug is not mentioned in the corresponding Release Notes.

Maybe this beta version of the firmware solves the problem for your hardware as well?
