Is that possible for balance to support inbound DNS configuration to have weighted balance configuration? This is to cater or ultilize different bandwidth of each ISP line to avoid congestion on smaller bandwidth line. For example, if we have 3 line with bandwidth 2Mbps, 10Mbps and 30Mbps. If we do not have weigthed balance for inbound, the first line will be congested. Please advise.
Currently, it only support priority setting when we create A record in the DNS setting.
I don’t think in the current firmware you could do weight balance on inbound traffic. but if you set the same priority for all WAN ports. traffic would
be load balanced among them. I’m sure a Peplink guy can have a better explanation for that or put this as a feature request for the future firmwares.
