I’m new to these. This is a very basic question that I don’t see being addressed on this forum. I’m running A BR 2 of battery power. The unit comes with a 110v power adaptor. I cut the wire so I can attach the unit to my power source. my question is about color coding of the red, black and white wires. typically, red is always 12 volt +. Black is 12-. The back of the BR 2 has a diagram that says ± and ING. but my wired plug is configured, lower right, Red (12v+) lower left (White) and upper right (Black). those appear to be backwards to the diagram on the BR 2!
Secondly, what is supposed to be present at the ignition sensing port. (white) wire?
should I just combine the 12v positive (red) with the White?
any help is appreciated.

@Glenn_Miller, if you would like to power the BR2 Pro via a battery, we would recommend you to get the optional 10ft DC Power Cable (ACW-634) to wire it to the battery. Sample reference from other MAX models.
Also, you may refer to this KB article for GPIO (eg. Ignition Sense) deployment guidance.
