I bought a Verizon Pre-Paid SIM Card and I can't get it to activate and they say the IMEI doesn't exist. What gives?

Verizon (and all carriers) have complete control over what data plans they will allow to be activated on their network using a commercial router.

You would need to sign up for a post-paid data plan that is compatible.
