I’ve asked Peplink and they’re clueless on this issue.
I’m getting spammed with the following connect/disconnect notifications.

From what I can tell, I have disable ALL notifications in InControl2, which Peplink verified. They suggested that I just disable E-mail notifications on the device itself, which I may NOT want to do, because then I’ll disable ALL notifications. I don’t necessarily want to do that since I’ll want some notifications in the future, just NOT these. Anyone know how to turn off these specific notifications? TIA!
Hi!
Looks like you’re using email notifications generated by the device itself. Yes, currently it’s not possible to choose on which events email notifications should be sent. An option could be to use InControl2 generated email notifications instead, this would allow much greater control on what gets reported.
This can be found in InControl2 under the group level Settings > Notifications.
Here you can configure on what events notifications should be sent, this includes WAN up/down events.
Otherwise you can always filter the messages within your email client. Only showing messages that include information that is relevant to you, while archiving the others.

I see now. I was under the impression that I had to enable e-mail notifications o the device, and then control which notification via IC2. I followed your advice and did all this on IC2. Thanks!
