I am trying to use bandwidth bonding and WAN smoothing for gaming. To get this set up properly, I need to eliminate double NAT and get UPNP working.
I’ve successfully set up FusionHub and gotten bonding/WAN smoothing working but now I am struggling with UPNP and double NAT issues. Ideally, I’d like UPNP to work on both of my routers (different locations) that are connected to the same FusionHub server. Is this even possible?
Alternatively, if I could get one of my routers to work with UPNP that could be good enough.
Some ideas I was trying:
- Forward all ports from FusionHub to one of the routers so it can handle UPNP
- Enable Layer 2 Bridging (no idea what this is and could not get it to work)
The routers are a Balance 20X and a Max Transit Duo.
One issue I was running into while trying to set up bridging and using the FusionHub as a DHCP server is that the WiFi clients could no longer get an IP address.
I also saw this message in the VLAN settings:
