Hot swappable expansion modules

If this is noted somewhere I must have missed it, but for clarification for myself and the community, are any of the expansion modules hot swappable on any of the base chassis? If not, is this something that is on the roadmap for added flexibility and to help limit downtime?

Hi Topher
For the MBX, it must be powered off when the modules are changed. We will be releasing an upgrade procedure for this soon. I will also get one made-up for the other modular models.
I’m not sure about for the other models

All devices need to be powered off before the Modules are changed. This includes the FlexModule, FlexModule Mini and MBX tray.

That’s what we expected but it’s nice to know for sure. Is there any talk of adding the ability to hot swap them in the future?

It will not be possible due to hardware.
It is not something that could be added into the firmware.
