Help- surface/"wall mount" antenna for outside of aluminum car trailer [MAX BR1 Pro]

Hello! Just discovered this forum and I just received my first router that is a Max BR2 Pro x62. I am planning on going big on a Max BR1 Pro for my all aluminum stacker car trailer made by inTech.

The problem I have for an external antenna is the stacker is 13’5 inches finished height and that’s not enough clearance to safely mount a good roof 7:1 or even 11:1 antenna. I am looking at side mounting an external antenna on the front of the trailer to have as short a run of antenna wires as possible. I am not looking for (and know won’t get) max range type of options, but willing to get a really capable antenna assuming I’ll give up a lot hanging it on its side. The antenna recommendation from my Peplink provider is the Parsec Belgian Shepherd PRO 7:1 Series antenna mounted horizontally. It apparently is good for range and I will assume have a lot of attenuation at about 11 feet off the ground at a 90 degree angle from standard and most likely 8 feet between the trailer and the back of an equally tall large RV.

I need to provide the antenna to the builder very soon as it is in construction so they can mount it and incorporate the wires in the wall to drop in the cabinet I want. I’d like to try and future proof the antenna a little and prepared to spend for the right solution - just like the Max BR1 Pro.

Sorry that’s a bit long but wanted some context to my ask for folks to get some backstory. Thanks in advance for reading and for any feedback being offered.

You want the antenna on top of the trailer, side mounting is a lot of compromise.

How much height/depth allowance do you have actually?

The 42G antenna when surface mounted is 58mm in height (<3 inches) would that fit?

Thank you for commenting.

I only have maybe an inch of roof clearance. I see a coupe that are thinner, but only have maybe 1 inch as 13’6” is max and I can’t chance going higher. I think the Parsec K9 is thinner but no WiFi 6.

I guess I could mount one flat on the top of the tool box on the tongue on the hitch, but then it’s about 4 feet off the ground and in a valley between the trailer and the.RV that are 8 feet wide and over 13 feet tall.

So I have accepted it will have to be side mounted with the negatives that will bring and looking for the best option.
