Help needed with WLAN Controller

Hi there.
I have a Balance 30 running Firmware 6.1.2 build 2717.
We just bought a AP One AC mini running Firmware 3.5.0 build 1452.

We can’t seem to setup the AP from the balance through the WLAN controller. We have followed the tutorials we found on Peplink’s site (i.e. Peplink | Pepwave - Forum) but we can’t see the “WLAN Controller” menu on the left under the “network menu”, thus we can’t create a wireless network or AP Profile.

On the balance dashboard, under “AP Controller information” we see Access Point: 1 (Online: 0).

I am sure we are missing something simple… any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

WLAN is essentially the AP Controller feature. For the Balance 30 it will need to be on 6.1.3 firmware or higher for it to be able to manage the new AP One AC Minis:

I have downloaded 6.1.3 build 2766 and that seems to have fixed the issue.
