Nice looking product, with WiFi WAN!!!
A few questions:
- Will it support standalone 5g?
- What is the Speedfusion throughput both encrypted and unencrypted?
- Will there be an option for a version with 2 modems?
- Will there be a 1x14 thread option? That is the standard marine mount spec.
- Is Peplink still developing a remote modem/WiFi WAN option that can tie into a Peplink router via ethernet? For those that dont want the router in the dome but want to have the cellular modem/antennas with no cable loss.
Re #5 - if Peplink would simply enable the use of VLAN’s on ethernet WAN ports, there may not be a need for something proprietary to link multiple upstream WANs over ethernet.
well my point for that is you would likely spend more money buying hd1 pro domes that have routers built in to connect to a central router versus buying some domes with just modems/radios that connect back to a central router.
Hi Josh,
please check the answers below. I hope this helps. Let us know in case you have any suggestion or further questions
1. Will it support standalone 5g?
It is possible to enable SA manually (for testing purposes only) by our support team, however when it will be available for public use is hard to say.
2. What is the SpeedFusion throughput both encrypted and unencrypted?
No encryption - 400 Mbps
Encrypted - 200 Mbps
3. Will there be an option for a version with 2 modems?
We are considering such option, but not dates or specs available.
4. Will there be a 1x14 thread option? That is the standard marine mount spec.
Same as with other domes need to use ACW-651 adapter if you want to mount Dome on a 1" 14 TPI thread. Also need to remove Ethernet Splitter.
5. Is Peplink still developing a remote modem/WiFi WAN option that can tie into a Peplink router via ethernet? For those that dont want the router in the dome but want to have the cellular modem/antennas with no cable loss.
Yes, the work is in progress, but no date available yet…

Awesome!!! Thank you! I know it was tough with Covid and shortages to develop and source parts.
