I have a pair of B310 in HA. This works very nice for connections between clients on the Untagged LAN and remote Speedfusion clients, especially with the “Establish Connections in Slave Role” option enabled.
However, when I add more VLANs to the LAN side, this doesn’t work anymore. It seems the Slave becomes active on those VLANs although it is still in Slave role.
It would be good to extend the HA functionality to all VLANs in the LAN. Only when the VRRP packets are not being received anymore by the Slave on the Untagged LAN, it should become active on the other VLANs on the LAN side taking over the Master role.
Of course, VWANs should be threated as WAN connections where a Slave with the “Establish Connections in Slave Role” option enabled can stay active the whole time to maintain Speedfusion tunnels and reduce failover time.
