GPS via UART port?

Is there any way to get the GPS data via the UART port?

MAX Transit and MAX Transit Duo

I no longer need this to work. Turns out that gpsd supports udp://192.168.0.100:12345 for listening for UDP packets sent from the MAX Transit to 192.168.0.100 udp port 12345.

That’s good enough for getting my APRS node operational.
