Google Fibermulti-gig

Hi,

I have a client looking at getting google fiber and he was asking about the multigig service. Would there be a way to utilize this with a peplink balance unit? I’m not sure if the google router, which has to be in bridge mode and has the fiber jack built in, supports link aggregation. I suppose the real question is, what is the solution to have a 10gb wan ethernet port.

I don’t believe the Google Fiber router supports link aggregation.

Additionally, while the Google Fiber Router has a 10GbE port, service is only up to 2Gb, however you could still have a 10GbE WAN link for futureproof-ness, but you’d need to step up to one of the SFP+ models, like a SDX.
