Hello,
After a short time we needed to add another device to the FusionSIM Cloud (FSC), which is equipped with ignition SIMs to get SIM cards from our SDX Pro with SIM Injector Flex Module.
I have tested that the BR2 Pro demo unit correctly sends a request to the FSC, it even responds with a free SIM card according to the FSC SIM offer history, but then when linking it gets an error: “Status: FusionSIM Platform not found”. It can be seen in the Links history.
We can see all SIM cards in fsc.peplink.com UI online, as well as devices and platforms.
Any idea?
Thank you.
Hi Lukas,
Based on the information you have provided it looks like the router can not reach the SDX Pro which contains the SIM cards. By design the SDX Pro should have a public IP address or hostname to reach it.
To test it, connect to FusionSIM Cloud, then go to Device dashboard. You should see a Diagnostic tab there. One clicked there is a button “Ping”. This way you can test if the router can reach your SDX Pro to get the SIM card.
Hi Giedrius,
The diagnostic does indeed show an error that the device cannot ping the SDX Pro.
However SDX Pro listens at a public address, it is not behind any NAT. In /support.cgi page the FusionSIM Agent is enabled on port 50000. Internal firewall has all inbound rules open.
It used to work for us, but it stopped working on its own without any configuration changes.
Hi Lukas,
Could you please created support ticket for your case. Team will take a look. Something is not right.
We have the same issue in our new setup except that when we use the “ping” option, our siminjector is responding. Peplink has done some preliminary investigations and report the packages received are all corrupted. All our devices are online in the FSC dashboard and respond to pings among them. Linking SIMS just doesn’t work and all links fail with Error: FusionSIM Platform not found. We’ve been at it for months now and yet nothing seems to fix the issue.
Hi Maarten,
could you please share the ticket number?
Hi Giedrus,
Thanks for your swift reply. I’ve asked our supplier to provide us the peplink ticket no. Will get back on this as soon as we have that.
Well that was quick: peplink ticket no: 24080679
Best Regards,
Maarten
Hi Maarten,
checked the ticket, this is more of an exception case. It looks like team was able to reproduce and we are waiting for FW with a fix. We will keep you update on the ticket and thank you for brining this to attention.
Hi Giedrius,
Thanks for your reply. We’ll await your update. Hope this will get resolved since I love the functionality it’ll bring to the PL ecosystem and can’t wait to put this in practice and play around with.
