FusionHub without Firewall

Hello Peplink,

Just a quick question: I have Fusionhub hosted on ElasticHosts, but no firewall. Is the FusionHub instance prone to attacks if I have no firewall?

Regards,

Soriam

Hi,

FusionHub has DoS attack protection built-in.

According to following page:
https://www.elastichosts.com/blog/cut-your-attack-surface/
You can set firewall for ElasticHosts instance using tools provided by ElasticHosts.
Refer to page 65 of FusionHub setup guide for a list of ports that used by FusionHub.

Thanks Kenny for your reply. Since the firewall is a little expensive on ElasticHosts, this is the reason I asked. Would you say it would be ok to run without the firewall? I only use the FusionHub instance for VoIP

Hi Soriam, it is safe to run without firewall.
