FusionHub – Unable to Configure Multiple LAN Interfaces (VMware)

Hi all,

I’ve deployed a FusionHub VM with the following setup:

3x NICs in VMware

  • 1x WAN
  • 2x LAN

Currently, I’ve configured basic WAN and LAN connectivity successfully. However, I’m struggling to get multiple LAN interfaces working (whether as separate interfaces or VLAN-tagged).

Requirement: I need to segment traffic (e.g. corporate vs guest) on different LAN interfaces. The design is:

Branch → Hub via SpeedFusion VPN
Hub → downstream firewall for internet breakout
Separate LAN interfaces / VLANs on the Hub for traffic separation

Issue: FusionHub doesn’t seem to allow me to configure multiple LAN interfaces or properly utilise the additional NICs, even though they are present in VMware.

Question:

  1. Does FusionHub support multiple LAN interfaces directly, or is this expected to be done using VLANs on a single LAN interface? If VLANs, where do I add the additional VLANs?
  2. Are there any limitations or best practices when trying to achieve this kind of segmentation on FusionHub?
  3. Has anyone successfully implemented a similar design?

Any guidance would be appreciated.

No… FusioHub don´t support VLAN. I just checkt at my 8.6.0RC1.

This virtual image, don´t have support to multiple lan interfaces.

Is there any virtual image that supports this, or not supported yet on FusionHub?

Sorry… not supported.

But… I am not a Peplink engineer… maybe they will have a plan to support it at next release.
Who knows?
