I had my internal firewall rules set to deny and I guess it sees SpeedFusion as an internal network rather than outbound. So I had to open that up and write a set of rules for the guest network and IOT network I was trying to block from talking to the protected network. I suggest you add this to the instructions / FAQ
Netflix immediately stopped working for users with a proxy error. I took their device and bypassed it from SpeedFusion, but is there a plan to fix that because I can see a situation where Iām going to run into a device that uses Netflix that I want SpeedFusion for and I know from past experience that trying to identify 443 traffic that is Netflix, versus 443 traffic thatās something else is an exercise in futility.
That is likely a Netflix issue - not a Peplink issue. If you are accessing Netflix from (or via) an IP address that Natflix has deemed a proxy (e.g. a cloud-based VPN server, such as a cloud instance running a FusionHub) then Netflix is known to refuse service based on regional distribution (IP) protection strategies.
I have a Balance 710 HW3 and several Max-HD2s ā applied 8.0.2s091
While the SpeedFusion sessions showed established, all of my remote sites lost access to HQ.
I reverted one of the remote sites, but no luck, then reverted the 710 and access was restored to remote sites running both previous firmware and 8.0.2s091. Anyone see anything similar?
@gradywhite, have you applied āInternal Network Firewall Rulesā when the B710 is running 8.0.2s091? If not, please get help from your point of purchase to do further checking.
Please could you provide the Max HD4 Cloud compatible firmware update, as the full list of downloads is no longer showing in the above post, and the link reveals only 2 other devices. Thanks
