I am quite security conscious. I am interested in purchasing a pepwave Soho mk3 for my home network because it seems to have better quality firmware in terms of security over typical commercial routers. I noticed on the firmware download page that firmware download links are not encrypted. Are the firmware files digitally signed? Or if not are sha hashes provided to confirm the integrity of downloaded firmware? Appreciate your answer on this
We do have proprietary checking mechanism before firmware upgrade. The unit cannot be upgraded if the firmware file is incorrect or modified by someone.
