We are pleased to announce that Firmware 8.5.2 RC 1 is now available.
No updates on the cellular modem stability? Not mentioned in release notes since Beta 1.
For some reason, problematic devices from before (Beta2) seem to connect better to 5G now. Although it was like a more random and not easy to replicate problem before, let’s hope it stays away now, but some more news about improvements on the cellular stability would be nice.
Am I the only one who got a completely unstable BR1 after upgrading? Keeps rebooting the whole time. Peplink support is on it.
Wich BR1? Pro/Mini?
We have around 20 BR1 Mini 5G (no Wifi) on it right now with no issues.
BR1 pro, br2 pro, br1 mini - all going well.
I’m using this RC on an MBX HD2, it seems fine.
The switch controller is ok. IGMP on the new switches would be nice.

I put my FW8.5.2 RC1 into a Peplink router with a USB port and use an RJ-45 adapter to connect it to Starlink.
When I check USB in Network>WAN>Starlink, the Starlink icon does not appear. Is this a bug?
I just quick checked using my device and I don’t see the similar issue. Can you create a ticket here for support team to have a look ?
Thank you
I’ve tried a few different routers, but there’s no problem with the B One or the BR2 Pro module, so it might be a browser cache.
I’m currently using the MAX BR2 Pro (RM520), which has this problem, for another reason, so I’ll test it later.
