Feature Request Discussion Category Updates

Hi All - new user here (software engineer using a Peplink B1 5G router my wife & I just purchased to hopefully smooth out some issues with our work-from-home setup while full-time RVing).

The functionality I was originally looking for…
…was the ability to de-prioritize a WAN connection once the allotted monthly bandwidth trigger had been hit (use-case: provider allows unlimited pay-as-you-go usage after cap has been hit & I’d like to prioritize other WAN connections that aren’t costing money & simply fall-back to the pay-as-you-go connection when the others aren’t working). I did find a few feature requests like this, but as I was doing so, noticed a bigger problem…

This Feature Requests Category could use some updates

  • A “Status” column on the main page (next to the “Replies”, “Views” & “Activity” columns to indicate where the topic is in terms of being implemented
  • A “Votes” column (with corresponding “up-vote” functionality) to indicate how many people have up-voted a particular idea as something they’d be interested in
  • A means by which similar topics can be marked as related and/or merged (if identical)… either by the community or by moderators if they don’t already have that ability.

As it currently stands, there are tons of topics, each with a handful of responses and no easy way to tell which topics are in demand and/or getting the attention they deserve. It seems that solving this problem would provide great value in helping the team to more easily identify which feature requests should be prioritized.
