If you’re using the # symbol in multiple tags (e.g. “#Home” and “#Phone”), you might have noticed that InControl only saves one of them.
If one of the tags was created without the # (e.g. “#Home” and “Phone”), the system would work as normal.
The reasoning behind this is that we use a # to designate the tag to act as a map marker for the device. As one device can only be tied to one map marker, the system is only able to apply one hashtag tag to each device.
