FAQ - eSIM Support

Q: Do Peplink devices support eSIMs?

Peplink’s new Bring Your Own (BYO) eSIM feature allows users to use their own eSIM and data plan with our devices. The only requirement to use this feature is that users need to have an active CarePlan subscription. If you want to get a head start, you can test it out now by downloading our 8.4.0 firmware here.

Q: How many eSIMs per device?

The number of eSIMs that you can use in your device depends on the number of cellular modems that are built-in. For instance, since the Transit Duo has two cellular modems, therefore, it is capable of using two eSIMs.

Additionally, each eSIM can store up to two profiles, allowing you to further expand and unlock the cellular potential of your device.
