Failed to activate eSIM profile - SOLVED

I am evaluating whether installing a MAX BR1 Pro 5G, 10m up a yacht mast where it is inaccessable and using the eSIM functionality is viable.

To evaluate I bought a new eSIM using the O2 network, which arrived today.

When I scan the QR code, I get a ‘Failed to activate eSIM profile’ message:

Have now tried many times over the last few hours, with no joy :frowning: .

My Wifi-as-wan is stable, with both 2.4 5ghz Wifi-as-wan as Priority 1 connections.

Event log:

Keen to confirm that this will work before purchasing an Antenna Max, AP One and routing all the cables.

What can I do to get the eSIM to activate?

The O2 SIM eventuallu installed with help from Peplink Support, however the connection/bandwith with O2 was poor, and unusable.

EE works fine with my phone, so I bought a 2 year eSIM from EE, but again it wouldn’t install.

Peplink Support are unable to help this time.

And, EE do not support eSIM’s in routers, only phones and tablets :frowning: .

I have no choice but to return the eSIM.

Unfortunately, it looks as though installing the MAX BR1 Pro 5G up a mast with an Antenna Max, is not a viable option - Shame as this would have been a great solution for me.
