Expired SSL cert in 8.2.1

The SSL certifidate included with 8.2.1 expired on November 29. I see that 8.3.0 will include a feature allowing the Balance/MAX to automatically renew the certificate using IC2. But what about the Surf SOHO – will it only get a valid certificate when a firmware upgrade is installed?

Yes, as long as your device is showing online in InControl2 and the option is enabled.

That may work in some cases but a far, far better solution would be to issue updated GA FW for all devices – even if the only change/update was to include a new cert. That would be very"clean" and allow “normal” updates of FW.

It must be emphasized that IC2 is not any form of a solution in may cases. Indeed, it often cannot be used for a myriad of reasons.

I have the option enabled but B20x cert still not renewed.
