The current firmware allows the user to limit the device to connect to only 5G SA, LTE or “5G, LTE and 3G” networks. Instead of only being able to select one out of those three options, it would be better to allow the user to select each connection method individually.
In my case for example, in Belgium, where you are always close to some border and roaming networks, modems tend to stick onto their home network or #1 roaming priority network too long, falling down to 3G networks, even whilst there are better 4G or 5G networks available from other roaming networks.
Therefore, it would be usefull to just exclude 2G and 3G networks and only allow connections on LTE and 5G SA. Then the modem will be forced to scan for roaming networks earlier and connect to those 4G or 5G networks instead of sticking on the poor 3G network.
