Everytime I finish applying changes, the router goes haywire

Recently got my Peplink Balance 20x to help with bonding/failovering all of my internet sources together to help with streaming calls like discord, zoom, etc. and gaming, but everytime I think I might’ve figured it out and apply the changes to it after setting everything up, I no longer have access to the setup page, and the internet goes down after.

Basically I’ve had to factory reset the Balance20x again and again to get it back to the default settings, and start over from scratch. I’ve watched some videos beforehand and felt like I should’ve had everything all set up correctly with everything being in priority 1 for failover (with the few connections like cellular or the 2.5/5ghz I put into disable until I figure them out), I did the setup wizard for the wan port, and I even managed to get the SFC router I made to pop up correctly, but it’s like something’s in the way that’s causing me to go right back to the drawing board.

Can someone step me through the process to make sure if there’s something I missed during my setup? I feel like I’ve tried out everything I could think of, and I’d rather wait to see if I’m able to get the results I’m wanting for the failover/priority settings before I fully commit to using the SFC for serious calls/remote work.

I am using a Starlink with Ethernet adapter connected to an Archer AX6000 as the Ethernet to WAN port, the 2.5ghz channel to go to the wireless starlink to be in top priority, the AT&T internet we still have under the 5 ghz channel, and a Verizon wireless Orbic Hotspot to act as a connected mobile device (although I’ve been having some issues with that lately, but that’s for another day). I’m also planning on getting an Archer AX73 to put in building to act as a wifi-mesh that I’d like to still use the TP-Link tether app for and hope I’ll still be able to use it after everything is all set up.

Bumping this with an update, I managed to fix a lot of these issues by not having the setup wizard change anything with the Ethernet 1 port, which has helped out, along with using the cellular SIM card from my iPad pro to put inside the router. For some reason I have issues with logging back into the web interface to make changes, but I’ve made a habit of saving the configuration after I make any changes.

Now the only thing I’m facing right now is the failover times between the different connections by default since I’m wanting to avoid wasting data with the speed fusion connect on when it’s not needed for anything serious. So far the disconnects haven’t been as bad as before, but I’m still experiencing about 10-15 seconds of the disconnects for Discord calls.

Is there a way to have SFC use data only when a hot failover is needed until the original connection is returned, as well as only setting it up with 1 application and how much data does it take up during the failover?
