What is the logic with regard to what information is placed in the event log?

It seems to me that very little is placed there.

I currently have a problem with my broadband connection going down/up and keep getting email alerts to that effect (which is what I expect because I’ve configured email alerts).

However what I don’t understand is why these important events are not showing in the event log.

FYI, I have a Balance 30 running 5.2.2(1108).

For anyone who’s interested I can confirm that I am now seeing information in my event log (seems that my B30 was still logging but the backend had become ‘disconnected’ from the frontend/display part).

Solved by a reboot.
