Enable the "Defer" button

Discourse forums have an optional UI element which is the “Defer” button. It marks a thread as unread. I find this very useful.

You can enable it for your own account as follows.

  1. navigate to https://forum.peplink.com/u/soylentgreen/preferences/interface

  2. click the checkbox:

This then gives you a new Defer button on every thread:

I suggest the site admins enable this by default (which they can do).
