Dropin mode on a wifi lan extension.

Hi all… I have two wifi lan extensions that connect back to a single lan interface on our WatchGuard router. They use the same subnet and gateway. I would like to add a pepwave MAX in dropin mode at the far end of each extension so that the local lan at that end would use the LTE connection on the peplink when the extension is down.

Has anyone tried this before?

I think you are going to have to give us a network diagram with the IP subnets included. Please include the type and hardware of the current internet access.

Also which MAX device you are trying to use.

I suspect that the best location will probably be between the WatchGuard and the upstream ISP, given the port limitations.
