Drop In Mode - Peplink 20 - Hardware Revision 6

I was told that this hardware revision I have should have DROP IN MODE. It does not show in the LAN options.

I have firmware version 8.0.2 Build 3667

Can someone help?

Hi. Drop-in mode is not a feature/option of the Balance 20. See https://www.peplink.com/products/balance/model-comparison/.

I try to buy the license for DROP IN MODE and when they asked me the serial number, revision and firmware they told me I had the option pre installed.

I guess I don’t know what to say about that. So far as we know here the B20 is not capable of drop-in mode. Unless, of course, you actually have a B20X…

@Rick is right. Generally , B20 for firmware 8.0.2 is not supporting drop in mode feature. We will discuss with the relevant teams to review the feasibility to include the drop in mode feature on the coming firmware releases. Seen you have open a support ticket, let see how support team can help for this.
