Drop In Mode for a Cellular WAN Interface?

It does not seem that you can share an IP with a Cellular connection, even if the IP is a static and routable. Does anyone have a work around for that scenario?

The customer is connecting a Peplink with TMO static to their WAN2 port on their firewall and wants to input the static IP into their firewall on WAN 2. I don’t think the scenario is possible but looking for work arounds… TIA

Hi @Jon_Sletton,

Are you referring to placing the Peplink into IPPT (IP Passthrough/Bridge Mode) and just passing through the T-Mobile Static IPv4 address directly to WAN 2 on the premise firewall? If, yes that feature/setting is available today. I

Imo & fwiw, I would set WAN 2 to to acquire via DHCP vs “hard coding” the Static IP.
