Is Peplink´s wan smoothing more than packet duplication?
Does the technology also use some kind of ecc (error corection code)?
Not to my knowledge. Wan smoothing is packet duplication, or you can use forward error correction. You can of course combine them too if you would like when the traffic is mission critical.
