Just for context, I work in an S.I. company, we basically design/provide recommendations on network design. Just recently, we just had a discussion with one of our clients about peplink speedfushion and bonding of links. Unfortunately, this said client talked to a supplier(not related to us) that said “Metro-E connections are not supported by speedfushion”
Not sure what Metro-E is called in your place of the world, but basically this is a virtual Layer-2 connection between Site-A and B- that your ISP provides you. Basically, you can assign any IP you want as long as their on the same broadcast domain, and poof, your sites can communicate
For our client’s used case, they have one Metro-E connection and a leased-line/internet connection to bundle.
I wanted to refute the claims of this supplier of theirs since these are just IP addresses right? I personally do not believe this statement(it just doesn’t make sense) but wanted proof of some sort, but despite my constant googling and searching this forum, I cant seem to find any resources about this
Hoping for your inputs, and inputs from those who have tried this kind of setup
