Does peplink actually have a QA department?

The latest crap 8.2.1s188 build 5151 does not aggregate multiple bands on ATT or Verizon.

Same issue that the BR2 Pro had with the launch firmware. Only connects single band LTE with 8.2.1s188 build 5151.

Which I had to work with in ticket 22080547 to get special firmware 8.2.1s095 build 5072. I rolled back to this and LTE-A working again.

Do you guys test things in the USA? I am seriously questioning quality of your releases. This is ridiculous!

Do you guys just throw away fixes? Are releases NOT CUMULATIVE? Why is carrier aggregation bug back almost 100 builds later?

I am seeing this as well on my BR1 Pro 5G after upgrading to the special firmware and the new cellular firmware released today. Verizon SIM no longer achieves LTE-A and I’ve not seen it connect to C-Band, either, despite knowing it is available where the device is currently located.

Our engineering team is now aware of the reports. We will look into it seriously.

I tried downgrading to 8.2.1 build 5018 and still only get LTE. I don’t see a way to downgrade the cellular firmware.

@erickufrin @Christopher_Wichura ,

There is a new bug discovered for the bands display in the firmware 8.2.1 that sometime the bands info is not displayed even the cellular module is connected in LTE-A/Carrier aggregation and this is the reason it cause confusion that the bug reappears after that.

Engineering team is working on the bug fix and we will repost the firmware as soon as the firmware is passing the QA test process. Very sorry for the inconvenience caused.
