This is helpful when monitoring device stability after a firmware update.
I would prefer to extend this slightly further and have the system track CPU and memory usage over time, like it does with the bandwidth graphs. I hate getting tickets like āit seems like its slower than normal at 7pm every fridayā and I canāt correlate actual device resource consumption.
The realtime usage % is very āmeraki-likeā. And Iāve had to replace those more than once for tapped out resources all while the usage % shows its working perfectly because of its gross inaccuracy.
It would be very helpful to have these CPU/Memory graphs for the devices, as we currently have equipment and clients who are interested in having a history of memory and CPU usage.
I assume this tracking directly impacts the performance of the device (similar to DPI). Would it be possible to send this information to InControl, as is done with DPI? I understand that CPU and memory data can be obtained via SNMPš
