would you please consider adding “disable LTE-A” button on MAX devices?
We have serious problems with LTE-A devices in Poland and it is rather the carriers fault. Sometimes it takes hours for MK2 to connect with LTE-A or even LTE while BR1 does it immediately.
We did dozens of tests and it happens nearly everytime. Maybe disabling LTE-A could help the devices to negotiate LTE connection with the BTS.
Yes, they do… When we put BR1 LTE and MK2 LTE-A next to each other, the LTE modem connects to LTE frequencies immediately. LTE-A stays connected to 3G unless i force LTE only. Then it stays connected to LTE but needs some time to connect to LTE-A (sometimes minutes, sometimes hours).
When we disable LTE only MK2 stays connected to LTE but often drops to 3G without any particular reason - the signal strength and quality is good.
Today our engineer tried to connect MK2 to any network for 2 hours while BR1 LTE did it right after being turned on.
