I’m a storm chaser in France and I’d like to buy a Peplink 42G antenna for my tornado trip to the U.S.
I’d like to build a removable magnetic mount for it.
The problem is that in the official antenna description, none of the components have the same dimensions.
One diagram states that the antenna is 105 mm in diameter, the 3M double-sided adhesive disc is 205 mm in diameter, and the antenna documentation (which doesn’t include a diagram) lists a diameter of 208 mm.
What are the correct dimensions?
I’d like to know the actual diameter of the antenna, the diameter of the threaded hole where the cable exits, the spacing between the threads, the size of the screws needed to mount it on my future brackets, and most importantly, how far the mounting holes are from the center of the antenna.
The diagram says 7 cm, but is that measurement accurate as well?
