Digicel SIM cards in the Carribean not connecting?

I recently purchased a SIM card from Digicel in Grenada with the hopes of getting it to work in my Peplink system. I currently use Google Fi data only SIM for my HD1 Dome Pro via SIM Injector and it works fine, even when roaming in Grenada. I installed the Digicel SIM in a spare slot, configured the APN per the provided instructions, left user name and pwd blank, saved, applied and rebooted. I am unable to get the SIM card to connect and return an IP address. It shows 4 bars and an LTE signal, just doesn’t connect. I’m assuming that the plan provided by Digicel is not compatible but they assure me it is. Any ideas on what I can try here?

Hi Gary,

It sounds like an APN problem than anything.
Have you tried to just leave it all blank?

We’ve had Digicel working, and sometime we’ve seen the SIM being set with a PIN (0000 or 1234), sometimes the APN needs to stay blank and auto collect.

Worth testing the SIM in a phone or other device to confirm settings.

Thanks Nik. Will give that a try. Have you had luck using any Airlalo eSIMs?

We have not - but we’ve tested a lot of eSIMs and most are working now.
There was a few issues initially, but most have been resolved now.

I’d give it a go and see what happens!!

Alternatively, we’re just a few weeks away from launching Caribbean coverage for our FusionSIM offering. Will share with you next week!

Yes please!! I would love to have a Caribbean region Fusion SIM service as an alternative to Starlink. My clients would also love the same. You have my email. Please forward the details when you have it.
