DHCP Shows Different Netgear Switch MAC's

Hi,

I am having the craziest problem with reservations for my Netgear GC510PP switches. The DHCP server is showing different MAC addresses that the actual switches are. Not sure if there’s a bug or what’s going on but has anyone seen this before?

SWITCH 1

FROM SWITCH
MAC Address
10:da:43:da:01:bd

FROM ROUTER
192.168.200.2
MAC ADDRESS
10:DA:43:DA:01:C0

SWITCH 2

FROM SWITCH
MAC ADDRESS
10:DA:43:DA:02:05

FROM ROUTER
192.168.200.3
MAC ADDRESS
10:DA:43:DA:02:08

Thanks In Advance

All just out by one bit, so probably a case of the base MAC address of the switch vs the MAC assigned to the interface that gets the IP address. This is normally the case with managed switches where you might have multiple VLANs each of which could have an IP address attached to it.

So no, very unlikely this is a bug (at least on the Peplink side) and more just expected behaviour.
