We have a remote site with a balance 20x connected to our 2500. I have enabled dhcp relay and pointed it at our windows dhcp server at our main office. I have tried putting in an ip address on the network for lan port on the 20x that is free on the main site as well as a different ip scheme. However I cannot figure out for the life of me why I can ping the dhcp server from the remote but nothing will get an IP address from the dhcp server. I am sure it is something I am doing wrong but the instructions in the manual make is seem as simple as changing modes and pointing to the dhcp server. It does not say if I need to change the lan address or not. The speed fusion tunnel comes right up.
Can you post some screenshots of what’s involved and give more specifics.
Any network diagram as well would be great.
Our distibutor is working with peplink on it for us now.
