Detect active connection type from a batch script

Hi,

We need to run some processes on servers behind a Pepwave Max, based on the type of active connection (Satellite/Wifi/Cell 1 or 2).
Does the Pepwave Max have some simple check you can do and see the type of active connection from a batch script?
Or a http call to the build in web server that respond with an xml and detailed info on connections?

I don’t want to ping to the outside world or a gateway, I am looking for an answer from the Pepwave device itself to prevent unnecessary satellite costs on continues ping checks.

Any help or inside is highly appreciated.

We don’t support such request. Anyway you can check the WAN status by using SSH CLI - get wan.
