In order to avoid operational issues, we would like to define the default configuration (for both firmwares) on any MAX device.
If something happens in the field or a card has to be switched, it is often very convenient to ask the person close to the device to simply hit the reset button. Unfortunately, per default, the roaming is not active and the ip settings are quite basic. If we could in the system page force the current config as default one, we would have a good way to come back to standard always working config for each of our customers.
