I have 4 WAN connection items in my WAN connection Status Window in the Dashboard. 1 Cellular, 1 Wired Wan (starlink) 1 5Ghz WiFi connection to an MR1100 and 1 2.4Ghz to my iphones hotspot. I would like to change that to also being 5Ghz and adding my wife iPhone hotspot as backups.
Can we add more WiFi WAN connections. I am not asking to be able to use them at the same time (although that would be nice) but just to have them as backups. My Max is an older CAT18 model circa 2021.
Are there any options?

I think what you want is the Wifi WAN profiles which you’ll find if you open the wifi wan settings and scroll to the bottom.
I created one for my iPhone hotspot. But it doesn’t show up in the dashboard like I was thinking it could. Just the currently used one. I even disabled the WiFi hotspot and the next one in the new profiles I just setup did nothing.
You will only ever have one 5Ghz Wifi WAN visible on your dashboard. But that Radio can connect to many different SSIDs that might be available nearby (like that from your hotspot) however since its one radio, it can only connect to one 5Ghz AP at a time.
You could have the 2.4Ghz radio connected to your home AP and your 5Ghz radio connected to your smartphone hotspot though. Still, you’d only see a 2.4Ghz WiFI WAN and a 5Ghz Wifi WAN on your dashboard.
Too bad it doesn’t switch to the next WiFi Profile when the Primary one is down. I created two and added them and if I take the one main 5ghz hotspot down the others do not take over. I guess they are not supposed to? Since there seems to be priority for the Profiles I thought they would get used in that order if the primary went down.
