The metered Cricket Simply Data plans were a nice option for Pepwave devices earlier this year when Cricket’s BYOD data device IMEI checker showed them as compatible.
Now however, Cricket shows the Pepwave devices as 3G devices which aren’t compatible.
It looks like the pepwave devices will be grandfathered in for one year which is great for existing users but will then cease to function on the Cricket network which is a shame as these were a nice option.
Is there any way Pepwave devices could be certified for use on Cricket again?
