My Peplink Mobility antenna has 4 LTE cables (LTE1-LTE4).
My Arcady KVD21 5G Home Internet gateway has 4 antenna ports labeled D, M, M1 and M2.
Can anyone advise which Peplink LTE cables should connect to which ports on the Arcady to maximize 5G connectivity (with just the internal antenna, it would connect to band N71). Below is the mapping of the KVD21 antenna ports to bands.
thanks
greg
Hi Greg,
Mobility MB-42G antenna has 4 LTE antennas inside. All 4 LTE antennas are identical and support bands from 600MHz up to 6000MHz. Therefore, there is no difference how you connect LTE antennas to your Arcady KVD21 .
BTW, does the Arcady KVD21 has connectors for connecting external antennas or did you tear it apart and connect antennas directly to the Arcady KVD21 5G modem ? I am just curious.
Thanks for that cabling feedback @Giedrius . I disassembled the KVD21 (as per https://www.waveform.com/a/b/guides/hotspots/t-mobile-5g-gateway-arcadyan#other-helpful-resources) and added coax pigtails for external connection.
ok, now it is clear how you connected
Thanks for sharing.
