Connect the internal WLAN AP to Cisco WLC via CAPWAP

We provide WIFI from the IT department of the city in the vehicles with peplink routers. As the city uses Cisco components, we have to connect a Cisco AP to our routers. If possible, it would be nice, instead to use a additional AP, to connect the internal AP (for example form a HD4MBX) to the Cisco WLC that the AP can be managed by the IT department.

Whilst both Peplink and Cisco (and quite a few other vendors) may use CAPWAP for managing their APs there is no way this will ever happen.

I’d just decide which is less painful for you, either putting a Cisco AP in the vehicle and joining it to the remote WLC or using InControl2 to manage the Peplink APs themselves.
