So I just found out about the Surf SOHO and it seems like a really promising router. I’m reading the specs and it states that the LAN and WAN both have a 100/1000M port, but yet the router throughput is limited to 100Mbps.
Why have a 1000Mbps port on something that only handles 100Mbps? I was completely sold on this router until I realized it was limited to 100, which would be a serious downgrade from what I already have.
Are these specs correct? I’m a bit confused, especially since most ISP in major cities are offering speeds much higher than 100M. Seems like a really big limitation.
